Request for Art - Streetlight Banner Designs

Would YOU like to create a streetlight banner design to celebrate the United States 250 anniversary?

The City of Moorhead is issuing a Request for Art for artistic submissions that celebrate the United States’ 250 anniversary to be printed onto banners that hang on streetlights throughout the downtown area.

Submission Criteria is as follows:

• Subject matter must be related to the United States’ 250 anniversary.
• Subject matter must utilize a red, white and blue color scheme.
• Subject matter must be appropriate for all that will discover it.
• Individuals may submit up to 2 original graphic designs.
• The final design must match the following specifications:
  • Dimensions: A right triangle, 48” tall x 20” wide (12:5 ratio)
  • Format: PDF
  • Resolution: 72dpi and under 10MB
  • Double-Sided: Each design submission should include a mirrored copy for placement on the front and back of the banner (view scaled templates on pages 4 and 5).
    • Note: If your design includes text, be sure to check your mirrored copy to ensure any/all text is facing the right direction and can be read.

All submissions will be anonymously reviewed and selected by the Art(ist) Review Team (A.R.T.)
