Traffic Alert: Construction to begin on 22 Ave S (S Rivershore Dr to 6 St S) on Monday September 21

On Monday, September 21, construction will begin on a City Project (26-A2-04) on 22 Ave S from Rivershore Dr to 6 St S starting at 7 am. Roadway work along with curb, sidewalk, and pedestrian ramp improvements are included in this project. The contractor anticipates this phase of work to last 3-4 weeks, weather permitting.

Properties that are located on 22 Ave S between S Rivershore Dr & 8 St S will lose direct access to driveways during this construction phase and should move them prior to the 7am start on Monday. Those affected addresses should utilize adjacent street parking locations outside of the designated construction area. Residents should not park directly adjacent or in front of the closures and construction signage.

Garbage collection and mail delivery will continue as normally scheduled during this portion of the work.

**Just as a reminder, individuals with disabilities or special access considerations should contact staff as soon as possible when access issues are known. The City will work with residents to meet their access needs during construction.**
