The Red River Valley SWAT Team will be conducting training exercises in Moorhead
The Red River Valley SWAT Team will be conducting training exercises in Moorhead on Thursday, August 13, from 5-9 pm in the 2300 block of 4 Ave S.
Community members may see SWAT personnel carrying training firearms and moving around the exterior of a building. No live rounds will be used during this exercise. Loud noises, yelling, and the presence of SWAT vehicles with emergency lights activated should be expected in the area. There is no safety concern for the public or surrounding neighborhoods.
If residents have questions or concerns during the training, they can contact the Red River Regional Center at 701.451.7660 and ask to speak with a training facilitator on site.
