Safe City Nights Coming in June and July

We're kicking off summer with the first of three Safe City Nights, and you won't want to miss it!

Join us for 3 nights of community fun at its best. These events bring together the Moorhead Police Department, Fire Department, Moorhead Police Athletics and Activities League, Parks and Recreation, and local businesses for an evening packed with activities for all ages.

Thanks to our generous partners like Gate City Bank, McGough, Downtown Moorhead Dairy Queen, and Brett Oertlie State Farm Insurance, you’ll enjoy free pizza, drinks, and ice cream while you check out everything happening:

  • Bike rodeo
  • A bounce house from Games To Go
  • Public safety vehicles on display
  • A landing and tour of Sanford’s AirMed helicopter and the Minnesota State Patrol helicopter
  • Coloring contest and a bike repair station

And don’t forget the door prizes, including a chance to win a brand-new bike at each event, thanks to the Moorhead Scheels.

Mark your calendars for the summer series from 5:30-7:30:

  • June 17 at Robert Asp Elementary (910 11 St N)
  • June 24 at Queens Park (3201 20 St)
  • July 15 at Romkey Park (800 19 St S)

Safe City Nights began in 2022 as "Police in the Parks" and has grown into a celebration of city services and community connection.
