Red River Regional SWAT Assist Moorhead Police Department with High-Risk Search Warrant

At approximately 7 a.m., on Wednesday, October 7, the Red River Regional SWAT Team executed a high-risk search warrant in the 1400 block of 20 St S. The SWAT Team assisted the Moorhead Police Department due to the primary individual’s criminal background and the elevated risk associated with the warrant service.

During the operation, seven individuals were detained, with two taken into custody. Officers recovered a stolen handgun and approximately two ounces of methamphetamine from the residence.

Antonio Stevens, 39, of Moorhead, was arrested for 1st Degree Controlled Substances, Prohibited Person in Possession of a Firearm, and Possession of Stolen Property. Tatum Benson, 23, of Detroit Lakes, was arrested on outstanding warrants from Clay County and Cass County (ND).

Stevens and Benson were transported to Clay County Jail.
