Notice to Competitors of Application for Tax Incentive(s) and Public Hearing

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Moorhead, Minnesota will meet at 5:45 pm on Monday, April 27, 2026, to consider the application of Werks Properties LLC, 2500 2nd Ave. N., Moorhead, Minnesota, leasing to Red River Motorworks Sales LLC, for tax incentives which the applicant will use in the construction and operation of an automotive sales business located at 2419 2 Ave. N., Moorhead, Minnesota, and is legally described as follows: 

All of Lots 1-9, Block 25, and all of Lots 1-12, Block 26; together with the vacated portion of 25th Street North lying between said Blocks 25 and 26, all in Hill’s Addition to the City of Moorhead, Clay County, Minnesota, being more particularly described as follows:

BEGINNING at the northeast corner of Lot 1, Block 26 of Hill’s Addition, according to the recorded plat thereof on file and of record in the Office of the County Recorder, Clay County, Minnesota; thence on an assumed bearing of South 00 degrees 21 minutes 48 seconds West on the east line of said Lot 1 a distance of 101.18 feet to a point of intersection with the north right-of-way line of US Highway 10; thence South 89 degrees 59 minutes 48 seconds West on said north right-of-way line a distance of 77.65 feet; thence westerly 355.64 feet along a tangential curve concave to the south having a radius of 5,804.58 feet and a central angle of 03 degrees 30 minutes 38 seconds, the chord of said curve bears South 88 degrees 14 minutes 29 seconds West a distance of 355.59 feet; thence North 00 degrees 21 minutes 48 seconds East on a line not tangent to curve a distance of 126.44 feet to a point of intersection with the south right-of-way line of 2nd Avenue North; thence South 89 degrees 53 minutes 33 seconds East on side south line a distance of 432.99 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.

Containing 45,280 square feet, more or less, and is subject to Easements, Reservations, Restrictions and Rights-of-Way of record.

City Council meetings will be live-streamed on the City’s YouTube Channel and will air on Moorhead Community Access Media (MCAM) on Midco Channel 12 or Sparklight Channel 58.

The City of Moorhead welcomes and encourages public participation. To participate and/or make a public comment in person, you must fill out a request to speak form. You will be given three minutes to speak. This notice is given by the above-named applicant/project operator pursuant to the provisions of 2025 Minn. Stat. 469.1734 Subd. 7.
