Application Deadline is Friday, April 10 for Community Garden Grant

Thinking about launching a new community garden or expanding the one you already love? The City of Moorhead is offering up to four grants, each starting at $500, to support individuals and organizations ready to kickstart or enhance a community garden on private land.

A community garden must be open to the public and either be free or have minimal cost to join/reserve a plot. These funds are meant to directly support your garden, whether it’s for seeds, raised beds, weed control, or making membership fees more affordable. The funds cannot cover personal costs, water bills, or structures.

Applications are due by 4 pm on Friday, April 10, 2026.
