Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR)

Awards

The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) has awarded the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting to the City of Moorhead, for its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) annually since 1983. In order to be awarded a Certificate of Achievement, a government must publish an easily readable and efficiently organized ACFR. This report must satisfy both generally accepted accounting principles and applicable legal requirements.

Grant Management

State Grant Transparency – Minn. Stat. 16B.98, subd. 5(d)

Beginning July 1, 2025, Minnesota state grant agreements include language directing grantees to clearly post on their website the names and contact information for the organization’s leadership and the employee (or other person) who manages and oversees each state grant. This page fulfills that requirement for the City of Moorhead.
