Become a Hydrant Hero!

Did you know a fire can double in size every minute? Quick access to water is critical during an emergency, but clearing a fire hydrant takes valuable time. That’s why we need your help! The City of Moorhead and the Moorhead Fire Department invite you to become a Hydrant Hero, keeping hydrants clear of snow, ice, and debris so firefighters can act fast when every second counts. With over 2,000 hydrants in Moorhead, adopting one and maintaining a 3-foot clearance all the way to the street makes a big difference in protecting our community.
