Lil' Linkers

Lil' Linkers golf lessons are offered to beginning golfers ages 4-6. This program introduces young or beginning golfers to the basic principals of the game through small group instruction and entertaining activities. Four stations will be utilized for instruction on putting, chipping, pitching and the driving range. Upon completion of this program, participants will have learned basic rules of the game and golf etiquette, and will have played through the full course once. This program uses child-friendly golf equipment, which is provided by The Meadows.

Lil' Linkers lessons are offered through Moorhead Parks and Recreation beginning in early June and continuing into mid-July. Registering is easy - call 218.299.5340, view our registration website or visit us at the Parks Office located at 1300 15th Ave N, Moorhead. 

Junior Golf

Junior golf lessons are offered to youth golfers ages 7-17. The goal of the program is to introduce juniors to the game of golf through basic instruction, activities and games. Weekly lessons include basic swing, fundamentals, grip, stance, posture, aim, driving, tee shots, rules and etiquette. Golf clubs are not provided.

Junior golf lessons are offered through the Parks and Recreation Department beginning in early June and continuing into mid-July. Registering is easy - call 218.299.5340, view our registration website or visit us at the Parks Office located at 1300 15th Ave N, Moorhead.

Private Lessons

Lessons are offered by Golf Manager, Jay Haug, in a variety of formats at The Meadows Golf Course.

2026

The Meadows - Adult League's

The Meadows Men’s League falls on Tuesday’s starting a couple weeks after the course opens for the season. League ends mid to late September.

  • League tee times are placed by calling the golf shop (299-7888 Ext #1) and asking for a Tuesday league tee time. League tee times can also be made in person at the golf shop. League tee times are first-come, first-serve and must be booked every week.
  • League Participants are allowed to book tee times 7 days ahead of time.
  • League Participants must have an active USGA Handicap and are required to pay a weekly game fee. (USGA Handicaps are available to purchase at the golf shop)
  • League consists of rotating weekly games that involve single, two person, and four person games.  League participants receive points for playing each week. Weekly top finishers also receive points and the top players at the end of the season qualify for our season ending shoot out.
  • Playing every week is not required.

The Meadows Ladies Day falls on Monday afternoons/evenings and begins in May and runs through September.

  • Participants are allowed to book tee times 7 days ahead of time.
  • Tee times are placed by calling the golf shop (299-7888 Ext #1) and asking for a Monday Ladies Day tee time.  Tee times are first-come, first-serve.
  • Participants receive discounted rates on greens fees for 9 hole and 18-hole play.
  • USGA Handicaps are not required.
  • Playing every week is not required.
